The Charlesworth Group, based in Wakefield, used MAS for expert help to streamline its processes, reduce machine downtime and improve stock control and on-time delivery.
As a result of two 10 day manufacturing improvement projects, the company has achieved the following:
- The average time to generate an estimate has
been cut by 50%. - A 40% reduction in waste has been achieved.
Sales have been boosted by £90k. - 15 employees have been trained to become
‘super-users’ in manufacturing planning
techniques. - 3 jobs have been safeguarded, which may other
wise have been under threat. - On-time delivery has improved by 10%.
