For manufacturers to operate in an efficient and profitable environment the whole workforce has to have the best interests of the company at heart. Sometimes this can be difficult if the ‘shop floor’ is removed from any element of decision making or consultation processes.
MAS practitioners have had many years experience in bringing together the ‘whole’ organisation to build better and perhaps new relationships, to strengthen the feeling of ownership and pride in the production of shop floor workers and a better understanding of what happens on the shop floor to senior management.
By working with the factory floor as well as the managers and directors MAS practitioners are able to bring together all suggestions for a better working environment and in this way the company works as a team. All employees are involved in decision making and the changes needed to make the working practices succeed. This in turn results in building a stronger working team with a knowledge and understanding of the new working methods and practices and a desire for the company to grow.
