The Lean Awareness workshop provides an introduction to lean tools and techniques through presentations and interactive workshops. Awareness is the first step towards becoming a lean enterprise. Whether you produce a product or deliver a service, the need to improve performance has never been stronger. To be able to identify what customers value, to map how that value flows through the organisation and to effectively drive improvements is vital for any organisation.
Principles of Lean Manufacturing
The objective is to provide delegates with a clear understanding of the principles and processes of lean manufacturing. The day will use plain language to explain the answers to questions such as:
- What is lean manufacturing and how do you recognise waste?
- What are the first steps to implementing lean improvements?
- How do you gain buy in so people become enthusiastic and genuinely involved in the lean process?
People who should attend:
