Entering new markets appears to be a positive concern as manufacturers diversify. As it continues to monitor manufacturing concerns in the NW region, the results of the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) North West’s first quarter research into the problems faced by manufacturers shows a marked change on previous quarters.
Projects are free to north west based companies that employ fewer than 250 staff and that turnover less than £40m a year, and aim to bring about real business benefits through university/industry collaboration.

Despite the harsh economic climate, the Manufacturing Advisory Service (MAS) NW quarterly manufacturing review paints an optimistic picture.
This competition encourages businesses not currently working in the nuclear sector to explore the opportunities that the predicted global civil nuclear resurgence presents. In addition, it will allow the existing supply chain to engage with innovative technology providers and explore opportunities for growth.
