Capenhurst Sellafield Ltd
Sellafield Ltd manages the hazard reduction programme for the NDA (Nuclear Decommissioning Authority) at the NDA owned site at Capenhurst in Cheshire. Site activities include waste characterisation, storage, recycling and disposal of both uranics (nuclear fuels) and site waste (building materials) that have arisen from the NDA plant.
T & R Precision Engineering
T&R Precision are sub-contract machinists to the aerospace industry, producing low to medium volume and high variety components. The business needed to improve capacity, with a view to accommodating an increase in orders. New machinery and building development were too expensive as a first option. The increase had to come at much lower cost.

Victoria Foods started out producing baking powder in bulk packs. The business now blends dry baking products to sell as cake mixes, dumpling mix, batter mix and similar products and has seen significant growth over the last five years.

Reel Appeal
Barry Lewis has been employed in the printing industry since school and worked at several label manufacturing companies before setting up Reel Appeal four and a half years ago. The company operates in a niche market and offers manufacturers cost-effective methods of displaying a greater amount of information than the surface area of a product normally allows. They do this through the printing of labels, label leaflets and mini label leaflets.
John Whittaker International Ltd
John Whitaker International Limited are market leaders in the manufacture and supply of high quality equestrian products. They are expanding their range to a planed 10,000 stock keeping units. The company teamed up with the Manufacturing Advisory Service to reduce stock levels and increase turnover.
